Using the notes you created before break and the information within the Film Unit, it is time to start creating a Story Board for a story.

Assignment 1--The Three Little Pigs

  • Create a 12 Shot Story Board for this Fairy Tail
  • This is an INDIVIDUAL assignment but you can share resources
  • You must use a variety of shots
    • You must have:
      • An establishing Shot
      • A long shot
      • A Medium shot
      • A close up
      • A shot with 2 or more characters in it
  • It must be IN COLOR
  • Remember: What you SEE is in the box, what your HEAR is written on the lines below


Assignment 2--Create your own production

  • Create a 20-25 shot Story Board for any Fairy Tail or childhood story
    • See Mrs. Ferris to get your story approved
  • This could be a story that everyone knows or maybe the "next part" of the story (like where the Big Bad Wolf is now)
  • You must have a variety of shots (see Assignment #1)
  • Also you need to be able to realistically bring this to life next week if your story is selected to be filmed so think through what it will look like
    • When I am grading it I will be comparing your Story Board to what is on the screen
